Seriously, tonight's loss to LSU doesn't feel like '07 where UF's offense was off the charts, but the defense was a sieve. Right now it's more like shoehorn Brantley into the offense instead of taking advantage of his strengths. And Demps? All reports indicate that he was game ready, yet he has no chance to contribute? Good call coaching staff. Honestly, the coaches better have their collective heads on swivels because the boosters won't take back-to-back losses quietly.

Ugh. I'll breakdown this inexcusable loss further on Sunday.

Norm Chow Won't Be Coordinating The Titans Offense Any More

Norm Chow, the former offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans, has been fired. Chow lasted three seasons with the Titans.

Chow took over a team that averaged 21 points and 340 yards on offense in 2004, and never really improved on those numbers. In fact, this season the Titans averaged just 18 points and 311 yards on offense. Chow never got close to the same success he experienced in the college ranks while at USC, which is why the Titans hired him.

He had been linked to the head coach opening at Hawaii, and the offensive coordinator position at UCLA. However, both of those spots are now filled so it's unclear where Chow will be next season.

So Long Cam Cameron

First year Miami Dolphins head coach Cam Cameron was fired this morning, and for the first time in a long time it doesn't feel so bleak to be a Dolphins' fan.

After enduring the Dick Satan debacle, and an extremely questionable draft, the Dolphins brought in someone who can be tough and make sound football decisions in the form of Bill Parcells. In less than a week's time, both Cameron and GM Randy Mueller have been fired, and it appears that Parcells is aware of the level of mediocrity that Miami has slipped to over the past few seasons. He's brought in Jeff Ireland to be the new GM, and hopefully his player evaluation skills can help get Miami on the right track in a relatively short amount of time.

The Dolphins are a team in the midst of a great transition, but this one feels like it's heading in the right direction. Though, after a 1-15 season just about anything could produce that feeling.
